About TimeTable

TimeTable was designed for freelancers, by freelancers. It was designed to allow freelancers to store all their work data in one place, securely. The application is based online so all your data is in sync no matter where you are around the world.

How it works

TimeTable is a web application! This means it runs in your web browser. Don't let the initial description scare you away; TimeTable behaves just as you would expect a desktop application to behave.

The main purpose of TimeTable is project management. The most difficult thing for freelancers is keeping track of their project details, work time, expenses, etc. TimeTable aims to make project management a breaze.

TimeTable also has extensive support for client management. You are given the ability to add contact information for clients as well as managing projects on a per client basis.

Completing the circle

TimeTable provides you with a beginning to end solution. When a project is complete you are able to export the project details. Because TimeTable lets you bind clients and projects together you can use TimeTable to email the invoice directly to the client, generate a downloadable invoice which you can edit, print, and/or email yourself. Theses invoices are customizable and may include your own company logo.

Compatibility

Because most project management applications run natively on your desktop you’re always going to run into syncing issues if you use more than one computer. Additionally you end up buying several license and the software will change if it's running on a Mac vs a PC. Since TimeTable is a web app this is no longer an issue. TimeTable runs in the browser so it's accessible from wherever you are in the world. Also your data automatically syncs up to the cloud! If you still feel the need to run TimeTable on the desktop we provide a solution for that as well.

Project Management

At the heart of TimeTable is a powerful full featured project management utility. Here you can manage work time, and expenses while keeping track of deadlines as they approach.

Project Urgency

With TimeTable you will sometimes be managing dozens of projects at once. It can be easy to forget that a deadline is approaching. In TimeTable you’re able to set the urgency of a project by the number of days before the project deadline.

Quick Select

Dozens of projects means that finding your project in a long list is going to be difficult. For this reason we've added the ability to filter through your projects. Simply typing the name of the project will filter the list making it extremely efficient and fast find your project!

Preferences

The less time you spend in TimeTable the more time you get to spend woring on your own projects! TimeTable makes it incredibly simple to create and manage projects but with the wide range of preferences you can cut the time you spend in TimeTable managing your projects in half!

Multiple Currency Support

If you need to provide support for other currencies TimeTable gives you support for Dollars, Euros, and Pounds. Other currency types may become available upon request.

Client Management

Many times your clients will come back to you for future work. It's nice to keep a detailed listing of your clients, or at least your active ones. TimeTable gives you the ability to keep details about your client. Whether these clients are individual people or companies TimeTable keeps the managed in an easy way that’s easy and convenient for you.

Driving Directions to Clients

If you need driving directions to your clients TimeTable has got you covered with integrated Google Maps support. TimeTable takes it a step further though. In your preferences you can set which location TimeTable uses as the start location for the directions: your current location or the location you supply in your personal preferences. Using your current latitude and longitude (if your browser supports it) or IP address TimeTable is able find your current location with ease.

Call Clients using ^™ and ^™

If you have a Google Voice account or Skype Out credits TimeTable gives you the ability to make a call to your clients by simply clicking a button.

^™ Integration

If you’re used to using the browser version of Gmail™ instead of a desktop mail client TimeTable is ready for cater to your needs so that all email links open with Gmail.

Data Anywhere

Because TimeTable is online you will never be without your data. There is no need to install TimeTable on your computer because TimeTable will run in the browser, so you can access TimeTable anywhere you have an internet connection. TimeTable gives complete control of your data. You can export and import timetables so your work is with you, even if you don't have an internet connect. In addition TimeTable allows you to disable data sync, giving you that extra privacy you desire.

Automatic Sync

Why should you have to manually save your data every time you make a change? Even though TimeTable makes it very easy with keyboard shortcuts (CMD+S on the Mac, and CRTL+S on a PC) to save your data we also provide a preference to automatically sync your data to the cloud after you make a change.

Where do I download TimeTable at?

TimeTable is a web application. This means TimeTable will run inside the browser itself thus leaving you with no need to download an application and install it; you simply login.

How do you find my current location for driving directions?

If your browser and computer support geolocation TimeTable will attempt to leverage this technology first. This means TimeTable will ask your browser where you are. If this fails TimeTable will then look to your IP address. This will be more general than your latitude and longitude and likely only resolve to your current city, however it works reasonably well. If you're behind a proxy the result will likely be wrong if your browser is not geolocation aware. Don't worry TimeTable simply passes the location along to Google Maps; NO DATA IS STORED!

Which browsers and operating systems does TimeTable support?

Timetable supports each and every operating system which can connect to the internet with a web browser. TimeTable is fully supported on the latest versions of Safari, Chrome, and Firefox, however, it should run on most any browser.

Do you keep my data?

Your application data is stored by our servers to provide a seamless sync for each computer you use TimeTable on. Your data is stored in an obfuscated state. Don't worry about your password either, TimeTable ensures that your password stays encrypted.

What if I really want to run TimeTable on the desktop?

TimeTable wants to provide you with as much flexibility as possible, this is the main advantage of web applications. TimeTable takes this a step further though, providing you with the exact same version of TimeTable you see running in the browser but this time on both Mac OS X and Window for an experience you have to see to believe. (more details on this to come)

Uh oh, I found a bug! Now what?

Because TimeTable is a web application you will never have to download a new version of the application when an update comes out. Instead you will always use the latest version when you login. Because of this I can be very liberal about pushing out updates. If you found a problem with TimeTable don't hesitate to send it to me, you might see a patch for that bug online by the end of that same day.

What happens when a new version of TimeTable comes out?

For most TimeTable users updates are free. The advantage you get when paying for the TimeTable service is that even when the next major revision of TimeTable is released you get it for free.

How do I ensure my data is backed up?

In the TimeTable application there is an option under the file menu to download all your data. With this feature all your data including, but not limited to, projects, clients, and preferences are sent to you in a TimeTable data file. If you ever need to reupload your data file this option, of course, also exists in TimeTable too.

TimeTable is priced very competitively against traditional desktop software. TimeTable is feature packed in a single version of the software, unlike most web services TimeTable has not been dumbed down for entry level versions.

TimeTable is slow or doesn’t work at all.

TimeTable runs its fastest on Safari or Chrome. TimeTable will run slower on Firefox and is not supported on Opera or Internet Explorer.

My logo on invoices is blurry.

When you download the invoice check to make sure the PDF viewer you are using hasn’t zoomed in. There is a known issue with certain image filetypes which may turn out blurry when added to the invoices. Try uploading the logo again in a different format.

Privacy on the web is very important. TimeTable has a very simple privacy policy.

• RCLConcepts will never sell or distribute your personal information to a third party, except when necessary to provide a purchased product or service.
• The information you provide inside TimeTable belongs to the account holder.
• Information and data inside TimeTable will not be accessed by RCLConcepts without the expressed permission of the account holder.

RCLConcepts, LLC reserves the right to limit or terminate your access to TimeTable if you do not comply with these Terms and Conditions. RCLConcepts, LLC reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, update, add, or remove portions of the Terms and Conditions at any time, with or without notice to you. Please check these Terms and Conditions periodically for changes. Your continued use of Timetable after the posting of any changes to the Terms and Conditions means that you have accepted those changes.

2. RESTRICTIONS ON USE
You are responsible for all items that you upload, post, cause a display, or performance of, email, transmit or otherwise make available via TimeTable. RCLConcepts, LLC reserves the right to, but has no obligation to, monitor or screen the content posted and/or displayed or performed in TimeTable. YOU REMAIL SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONTENT OF THE MATERIALS YOU POST, CAUSE TO BE DISPLAYED OR PERFORMED IN ANY AREAS OF TIMETABLE AND THAT YOU TRANSMIT IN ANY OF YOUR COMMUNICATIONS THAT USE TIMETABLE AND THE SERVICES PROVIDED THEREBY.
You may not use TImeTable to harass or advocate harassment of another person or entity, perform any illegal acts which may violate state, local, federal, or international laws or regulations. You may not impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent in any way your affiliation with a person or entity.
You may not use TimeTable in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, disrupt, or impair TimeTable or any RCLConcepts, LLC server or network(s) connection to any RCLConcepts, LLC server, or interfere with any other party’s use or enjoyment of TimeTable. YOU MAY NOT MODIFY, ADAPT, TRANSLATE OR REVERSE ENGINEER TIMETABLE. You may not use any robot, spider, site search/retrieval application, or other device to retrieve or index any portion of TimeTable not intended for public consumption. You may not create user accounts using any automated means or under false pretenses.
To the extent that you use or connect to any third party application and/or other systems through TimeTable, you agree that you will comply with all terms and conditions of use such third party systems, including without limitation, the proper registration for, acquisition and use of a username and password for such systems.

3. RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIRD PARTY CONTENT
You understand that RCLConcepts, LLC does not verify the qualifications of users, nor does it evaluate or control in any ongoing manner the operations of invoices, emails, or other exchanges and transactions between users. Any opinions or statement expressed by a user are those of the user alone, and not to be attributed to RCLConcepts, LLC. RCLConcepts cannot and DOES NOT assume responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, safety, reliability, timeliness, innocuousness, legality or applicability of anything said, written, posted, displayed or otherwise made available byt any user.

4. LICENSE AND CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION
By posting information, photos, logos, or any other copyrighted content you certify that you are the owner of said content or have the right to distribute said content. Projects, clients, and other information posted in TimeTable belongs to the account holder and will never be accessed by RCLConcepts, LLC without the expressed permission of its owner.

5. COPYRIGHT POLICY
In addition to any other use restrictions set forth in this Agreement, you may not engage in or facilitate the posting, modification, distribution, reproduction of any copyrighted material, trademarks, or other proprietary information belonging to others without obtaining the prior written consent of the owner of such proprietary rights. It is the policy of RCLConcepts, LLC to terminate all privileges of any user who repeatedly infringes the copyright rights of others upon receipt of prompt notification to Company by the copyright owner or the copyright owner’s legal agent

6. PRIVACY POLICY

7. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED OTHERWISE, ALL INFORMATION AND SERVICES OFFERED ON TIMETABLE IS PROVIDED AS-IS WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND AND RCLConcepts, LLC HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PUPOSE. IN ADDITION, EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED OTHERWISE, RCLConcepts, LLC DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTIES OF NON-INFRINGEMENT, TITLE OR QUIET ENJOYMENT. 8. INDEMNITY
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold RCLConcepts, LLC and its affiliates, officers, agents, co-branders, partners, and employees harmless from any claim or demand made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of TimeTable, your connection to TimeTable, your violation of the Terms of Use or Privacy Policy, or your violation of any rights of other users of TimeTable. Any such indemnification shall include the payment of reasonable attorney's fees incurred in the defense of such claim.
